Slag Bindes

Imerys slag binders are used to clean the surface of the melt prior to pouring, with their high efficiency dross and slags from both melting and post treatment processes are easily removed enabling the pouring of inclusion free castings.

Due to the inert nature of the material there is no aggressive reaction with ladle and furnace lining refractory materials. The high fluidity of our products ensures a high slag binding power at a low consumption. Various particle/grain sizes are available for both furnace, transfer, treatment, casting ladles, converters and induction furnace crucible applications.
